Take a rest and enjoy the view

I make 3D stuff. Here's what I've made in the past year.
HOTEL XING BAY
This is my part of a 3-party group project in which we were asked to make up a hotel at a certain place in the world, then design and create its areas. Our fictive hotel was located in Hong Kong, and I had the pleasure of making the restaurant. Check my instagram for the full result of the project!
Made with 3ds max, corona renderer and photoshop. Took 3 weeks to finish.
THE NON-COMFORTMIST
This is a challenge in modelling an existing chair from base, using only images. I chose the Non Conformist Armchair by designer Eileen Gray.
Made with 3ds max, corona renderer and photoshop. It took 2 weeks to finish.
URBAN ARCHITECTURE
A project handed to the class from London-based archviz company Miller Hare. They gave us a base model of King's Cross, a large area in London, in which we individually selected which smaller areas we wanted to visualize. I chose this spot outside the Coal Drops Yard shopping centre. The focus lay on materials, lighting and most importantly the mood and story the images convey.
Made with 3ds max, vray renderer and photoshop. The project took 4 weeks to finish.
SWELL DWELLING
Modelling a house from drawprints! Here I got familiar with the scattering plugins from iToo. The roof is made using Railclone and Forest pack for the vegetation. As per usual 3ds max, vray renderer and photoshop. Some vegetation has been modified and a few details been added using the AI generative tool in photoshop. Took 3 weeks to finish.
MÄKLAREN KOMMER!
Challenge: find pictures online of a home for sale that is a huge fixer upper. Build the rooms accordingly to the pictures and transform it into a proper realtor photograph. This 2-room apartment in Åmål is ready for sale!
3ds max, vray renderer, photoshop. Took 3 weeks to finish.
MATTE PAINTING
A photoshop-focused challenge where we got familiar with AI and prompts. My individual task was to create a pavilion in a mountain environment. AI was used to create the building itself and an inspiring concept. Then various pictures online were used as layers and post-editing methods made it all come together. The AI-generated building was created in Midjourney, rest in photoshop, the images came from flickr. Took 2 weeks to make.
ABSTRACT SUMMER EVENING
A challenge in creating an abstract 3d-scene from a known work of art. Try to guess which one before clicking past the 2nd image!
3ds max, vray, photoshop. Took 2 weeks.
